1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the Gear Solaris website and services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.
2. Services Description
Gear Solaris provides winter car accessories, installation services, and related automotive services in Canada. Our services include but are not limited to:
- Winter tire installation and storage
- Battery testing and replacement
- Engine warming system installation
- Winter emergency kit supply
- Vehicle winterization consultations
3. Appointments and Services
Booking
Appointments must be scheduled in advance. We reserve the right to confirm, reschedule, or cancel appointments based on availability and circumstances.
Service Completion
We strive to complete services within estimated timeframes. Delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances, parts availability, or vehicle-specific complications.
Customer Responsibilities
- Provide accurate vehicle information
- Arrive on time for scheduled appointments
- Remove personal items from vehicles
- Disclose known vehicle issues or concerns
4. Pricing and Payment
All prices are in Canadian dollars and subject to applicable taxes. Payment is due at the time of service completion unless other arrangements have been made. We accept cash, debit, and major credit cards.
Price Changes
Prices may change without notice. Quoted prices are valid for 30 days from the date of quotation.
5. Warranty and Guarantees
Installation Warranty
We provide a 90-day warranty on installation services against defects in workmanship. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or damage caused by misuse.
Product Warranty
Products sold are covered by manufacturer warranties. We will assist with warranty claims but are not responsible for manufacturer warranty terms or coverage.
6. Limitation of Liability
Gear Solaris shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of our services.
Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service in question.
7. Vehicle Safety and Inspection
Customers are responsible for ensuring their vehicle is safe to drive. We recommend professional inspection of installed accessories and systems. We are not responsible for vehicle performance issues unrelated to our services.
8. Cancellation Policy
- Appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled with 24 hours notice
- Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may incur a cancellation fee
- No-shows will be charged 50% of the service fee
- Emergency cancellations will be considered on a case-by-case basis
9. Intellectual Property
The content, layout, design, data, databases and graphics on this website are protected by Canadian and international copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without express written permission.
10. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of our services, to understand our practices.
11. Governing Law
These terms shall be interpreted and governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Quebec.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
